Is it safe to root my Android mobile?

Yes rooting your mobile is safe but it exposes your mobile to a lot of shit Strom . In general is risky job. But recent android updates has made much more powerful. Lot of process that earlier required root access can now be done without one . So let's list out pros and cons of rooting .
Why do you root your device .
  1. Remove bloatware apps : most manufactures ( except Motorola and Google ) add unwanted apps which are useless and consume a lot of battery and memory. So it's better to have them removed. Or you can just disable them as a result they will not consume any battery and apps are as good as dead. .
  2. Using apps that require root access :apps like greenifytasker , titanium backup unleashes a lot of android power like automating many process, increasing battery ,taking backups. But there are many alternative non root apps like microdroid ( for automating ) and for app backup many applications have Google play services back options which is even better.
  3. Custom rom : this is most exciting part of rooting android devices. Anything and everything can be modified to suit your needs. Upgrading android os . Better battery performance . Better everything .
  4. Can hack games.: apps like lucky patcher allow you to add coins and in-game money .
Cons :
You lose manufactures warranty.
Mobile will become valnerable to virus and other attacks. Be careful about which apps you install.
I have seen a few cases where particular features were not working like Bluetooth, hotspot access.
You may brick your device . This happens during flashing new rom if you don't follow instructions properly.
Note : I rooted my mobile to use xmodgames for clash of clan and had a lot of fun but coc banned xmodgames .
Recent android update (latest being oreo) have added a lot of customisation support for Android user like options to theme, multi window . So for Android Oreo user rooting is far less exciting .
Be very carful, read all instructions and only once you understand them all , start the process. Good luck
