What was Steve Jobs like in real life?

He was keen on firing people in particular.
While making the Lisa, one person got the guts to tell him that what he was saying was not possible. This guy also happened to be the most intelligent person on the team. He was fired on the spot and told that he didn’t share the same enthusiasm as the others did.

Once he fired someone when she got into the wrong elevator.
Here’s a quote from a person who happened to be in that elevator.

I once rode down an elevator, not that many floors. We got in the elevator and the next floor a young woman got in, and I could see her go, “oops, wrong elevator.” And Steve said, “Hi, who are you?” and introduces himself to her -- “I'm Steve Jobs” and turned on the charm and said, “What do you do?” and all this sort of thing. And the door of the elevator opens at the bottom, and he says, “We are not going to need you.” And we walk away.

Steve was not one who thought twice.
However, he did think deep.

Let’s talk about an incident that proves this as well as the fact that he was really cruel.
Jobs was hired by Atari to make a game, and was paid $5000 to do it. He went over to Wozniak, his best friend, and told him to make the game for him, and said that he was getting paid $700. Wozniak gave him the finished game, after which Steve handed him $350 and said that the money was split 50–50.

Steve ripped off Wozniak, his best friend. Not only was he responsible for Jobs’ $4650 profit, but also for Apple as a company.

Despite all this, the world wouldn’t be the same without Steve, and I admire him although he was cruel at times.

5. Lost control over emotions. Was way too argumentative and difficult to handle as a project leader.

The modern Artist though a real world changer, was quite a difficult kind of person to handle in real life.
