Honor V10 with FullView Display & Kirin 970 SoC to Launch on December 5th – Rumor
Honor has earlier teased to launch a new smartphone on December 5th in London. Now, the latest reports suggest the company to unveil the Honor V10 smartphone on that day. It is the successor to the Honor V9 launched back in 2016. From the teaser image, we can confirm the device to sport FullView display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Honor V10 is also expected to share most of the specifications with the recently launched Huawei Mate 10.
It is rumored to feature a 5.99-inch FullView display with 18:9 aspect ratio. We expect the device to offers Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) resolution instead of Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Kirin 970 processor built using 10nm FinFET process. The 8-core CPU is also accompanied by a 12-core GPU along with an integrated NPU. It also includes 6GB of RAM and will be available in 64GB and 128GB storage variants.
There will be no Leica branding on the Honor V10 but features the 20MP + 16MP dual camera setup. It will also be first Honor smartphone to ship the latest Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0 out of the box. The smartphone will be coming with a unibody design. With the bezel-less display on the front, the fingerprint sensor will be placed on the rear of the device. The recently launched Honor 9i came with Full View display.
It even offered dual cameras on the front and rear of the device. While the Honor 9i device came with mid-range specifications, the upcoming Honor V10 will be the company’s latest flagship device. Unlike the Huawei Mate 10, the Honor V10 is expected to come with an aggressive pricing. Though there is no information about the battery capacity, the 3C listing revealed the device to support up to 22.5W fast charging.
According to the leaks, the base variant of the Honor V10 will be priced at $450 (approx Rs. 29,000). Since there is no confirmation from the company, take these details with a pinch of salt. Next month, the company also hinted to launch the Honor 7X in India. It also comes with an 18:9 display and dual rear cameras.
