Infinix Zero 5 with 16MP Selfie Camera to Launch Exclusively on Flipkart in India

Transsion Holdings-owned Infinix will be unveiling its latest flagship smartphone under the Zero series on November 14th in Dubai. The company has already started teasing about the Infinix Zero 5, the successor to the Zero 4 launched earlier this year. In India, the Infinx Zero 5 will be exclusively sold through Flipkart. With the Zero 5, Infinix will be unveiling its first ever smartphone with an 18:9 display. On the rear, we will be looking a dual camera setup.

It comes with a metal unibody design While there is no official confirmation, the leaks have already revealed the full specifications of the device. It might come with a 6-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, it will be powered by a 64-bit MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core processor clocked at 2.6GHz. It comes coupled with Mali-T880 MP2 GPU and 6GB of RAM. There will also be 64GB/128GB of internal storage that can be further expandable using a MicroSD card.

Coming to the camera department, the dual camera setup on the rear will be featuring a 12MP wide-angle sensor and a 13MP telephoto sensor. As seen on the Huawei P-series devices, there is a black strip on the top rear of the device that holds the dual cameras along with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, the Zero 5 comes with a 16MP front-facing camera with LED Flash. It runs on Android Nougat out of the box with the customized XOS skin laid on top.

The Zero 5 also supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G VoLTE connectivity. It might come packed with a 4,350mAh non-removable battery that also supports fast charging technology. With all these high-end specifications, the Infinix Zero 5 is said to cost less than Rs. 20,000 in India.
