Xiaomi Sold 1,50,000+ Units of Redmi Y1 & Redmi y1Lite in their first Flash Sale

Xiaomi's freshly launched Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite smartphones were up for grab in their first sale today, and like every other Xiaomi device, the company managed to sell more than 1,50,000 units of the smartphones in just three minutes.

News of the impressive feat was announced by Xiaomi India head, Manu Kumar Jain, via a tweet which read,"RedmiY1 & Redmi Y1 Lite: >150K units sold in 3 mins across Amazon.in and Mi.com. Thank you, Mi Fans for your love and support."

For those who could not buy the selfie-centric smartphones in their first sale, the next sale of Redmi Y1 and Y1 Lite is scheduled for 15 November and will kick off at 12:00 noon on Amazon.in and Xiaomi's official website.
